ABOUT THE EVENT
Before Everything is Bad by Bad Posture Ensemble presents an evening of contemporary performance that blurs the boundaries between concert, experiment, and gathering. Four composers: Dhorn Taksinwarajan, Kawirat Saimek, Khetsin Chuchan, and Taratawan Krue-On, bring works that question how we listen, gather, and survive the absurdity of the everyday.
The program spans intimate reflection and collective ritual: A Guide to Staying in Iceland by Khetsin Chuchan transforms survey responses into a four-part score on living in extreme conditions; He(a)re I am by Dhorn Taksinwarajan invites performers into a ritual of listening and presence; Beethoven 7-11 by Pink Sky Orcas reframes familiar musical motives as commentary on history and capitalism; and Cups by Kawirat Saimek turns personal fragments into both vulnerability and humour.
Playful yet deliberate, the concert holds space for accidents, laughter, and unexpected resonance—reminding us, perhaps, to show up before everything is bad! Tickets: Donation-based
