ABOUT THE EVENT
In this 3-hour workshop by Yada Kaewburee, you'll explore intimacy through the universal yet deeply personal act of a hug. Using somatic practices, guided discussions, creative exercises, and embodied movement, we'll create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and included. Whether new to intimacy work or experienced in somatics, there's a place for you here. Participants are also encouraged to bring an item that holds personal meaning to integrate into the practice.
Agenda:
Guided Discussion (30 minutes):Explore the meaning of intimacy, share perspectives on physical connection, and reflect on how experiences and cultures shape our understanding of closeness.
Somatic Practice & CI Dance (45 minutes):Engage in exercises to heighten self-awareness and connect through non-verbal communication, touch, and consent via Contact Improvisation dance.
Card Game: “Intimacy & Connection” (30 minutes):A card game designed to spark conversations about emotions, boundaries, and desires, fostering deeper connections among participants.
Personalized Hug & Connection…
