ABOUT THE EVENT
“Rosenberg places the moment-to-moment development of the music first, a mark of the mature artist.”
– Bill Shoemaker, Down Beat (USA)
“It opens the inner ear in a way that threatens to get lost in our world which musically is constantly irrigated. It makes us listen.”
– Michael Scheiner, JazzZeitung (Germany)
Following the ensemble’s debut at PoA White Box last September, Joe Rosenberg returns with a new session of original, free improvisation.
Having shared the stage with renowned musicians including Buddy Colltte, Dewey Redman, Gary Foster, Mark Helias, Tom Rainey, Junko Inishi and Taylor Ho Bynum, Joe continues to explore music through the moment – allowing each sound, silence and interaction to shape what comes next.
