Jazz has evolved far beyond its American origins, developing distinct regional voices through its encounter with different musical traditions.
In the Nordic countries, jazz took on a more spacious and atmospheric character, blending improvisation with influences from European classical music.
For this performance, bassist Kitsanapong Julkanak joins Tonnam Sanchaichana on keys and Wayu Meponkit on drums to explore the sound of Nordic Jazz through their own perspective.
An evening of melody, space, and interplay, shaped by contemporary European influences and reimagined by a Thai trio.
