JAZZ NIGHT: OWLS QUINTET

For their debut performance as Owls Quintet, the band presents a vibrant mix of modern jazz favourites and original compositions by the members and their close collaborators. What began as a shared playlist of songs they all loved gradually evolved into a cohesive set, where familiar influences and new ideas naturally come together into a sound that's distinctly their own.

The name is inspired by Minerva's Owl, one of the pieces in their repertoire. Representing wisdom and mystery, the owl reflects the atmosphere and character of their music. At the same time, "Owls" playfully echoes the word "Ours," a nod to the band's collective spirit and the original music they create together. Featuring guitarist Supakpong Lertsuwanroj, saxophonist Pasit Chutimantapong, keyboardist Numpetch Meeitsara, bassist Thunyaboon Ruttanatubtimtong, and drummer Pitchaon Kanajaroen, expect an evening of contemporary jazz, expressive originals, and a band that's truly cookin'.
