Poetry in Red is an innovative artistic endeavor brought to life by Ten Layers of Air. This conceptual performance art weaves together spoken words, live music, and various forms of dance, including pole dance, contemporary dance, and contact improvisation.
Its purpose is to artistically delve into and convey the multifaceted essence of the color red, which symbolizes the spectrum of human emotions and psyches. This includes delving into the shadowy, forbidden aspects of our beings, as well as the facets we often reject and the hidden desires that reside within us.
