ABOUT THE EVENT
People of Ari is excited to partner up with Translucent Bodies(Singapore) to feature, 'Read the Room,' a two-day introductory workshop in red nose clowning—an expressive, joyful, and deeply human form of performance! Led by Singaporean theatre-maker and teaching artist Vignesh Kumar Singh, this workshop draws on techniques from world-renowned clowning institutions: Christopher Bayes’ Pandemonium Studio (New York) and Ecole Philippe Gaulier (Paris). Whether you're an actor, performer, teacher, or simply curious, this workshop is designed to help you tap into your authentic self and explore the humour that lives within you! *A portion of profits from this workshop will be donated to support victims of the recent earthquake in Thailand and Myanmar.
