การแสดงพิเศษนี้จะพาผู้ชมสวมบทบาท "ของถวายจูเนียร์" ที่มาเข้าร่วมพิธีเลือกเจ้าที่คนใหม่มาแทนที่คนเดิมที่จากไป พร้อมทัวร์เปิดบ้านทำความรู้จักกับสถานที่อันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ชมอภินิหาร และการแสดงมหรสพครั้งสำคัญ ที่จะเปลี่ยนชีวิตขอถวายในศาลฯไปตลอดกาล!

นิทรรศการ Spirit House Open House หรือ เปิดบ้านศาลพระภูมิ เป็นผลงานร่วมสร้างโดย People of Ari และ แก่น - สารัตถะ จึงเสถียรทรัพย์ จากเพจ Uninspired by Current Events ศิลปินเจ้าของเพจ 3D Art เสียดสีสถานการณ์บ้านเมืองรายวันแบบเฉียบคมและเจ็บแสบ

นิทรรศการนี้จะเปลี่ยนอาคารบ้านเก่าของร้าน Yellow Lane ให้เป็นศาลพระภูมิขนาดยักษ์ ที่เต็มไปด้วยวัตถุที่บ้างก็คุ้นตา บ้างก็แปลกประหลาด ให้ผู้เข้าชมได้เข้าไปทำความรู้จัก "เจ้าที่" แบบไทยๆ ในหลายมิติ!

People of Ari presents Spirit House Open House: Interactive Performance by AT THEATRE as a part of Spirit House Open House Exhibition by Uninspired by Current Events for Bangkok Design Week 2024.

This special event takes audience members on a supernatural tour as 'junior offerings' upon first arrival to the spirit house that they must serve. It also happens to be the day of the miraculous selection of the new 'เจ้าที่' or the highest ranked guardian spirit of the house after the old one left.

This supernatural tour, allowing them to delve into the magical lives of guardian spirits, witnessing wonders, and bestowing blessings (or curses) on residents. However, even as mystical beings, managing a household presents challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to explore how the candidates navigate these complexities.

Spirit House Open House, a collaboration between People of Ari and 'Uninspired by Current Events,' the Thai online political art sensation, transforms the Yellow Lane building in Ari Soi 1. Formerly the residence of a prime minister and military general, this installation satirically explores Thailand's daily affairs through oversized offerings and decorations, resembling a scaled-up Thai spirit house. The art provides insight into guardian spirit culture, offering playful commentary on its reflection in Thai society.
