Ari Weekend Market #3 was hosted on the weekend of 28-29 May 2022. Many friends of the community joined in as vendors, namely, Mitt Restaurant and LAF Craft Beer. The market also welcomed more sustainability- and cause-minded vendors.
For example, REFresh Farm aims to build capacity on urban farming for children and families affected by migration, helping them access a source of income. Pak Done provides composting equipment and healthy soil with the goal of promoting organic zero waste.
In addition to pottery workshops by Art is Fun, there were also other creative activities like dot painting by Amy Diener, W by Wong bracelet making, and music by Baank & TOMMY (a musical improvisation project using guitars and electronic sound manipulation).
Hosted by People of Ari and Happy Grocers, Ari Weekend Market is a neighbourhood get-together at Yellow Lane on the last weekend of every month. The market focuses on sustainability, creativity, and connecting the community together.
