Ari Weekend Market #5 was held on 30-31 July 2022 in the garden of Yellow Lane. For this 5th edition, the market was more packed than ever, and featured international food, sustainable products, and kid-friendly activities.
Anmanee Singhanart performed relaxing handpan music (her music is beginning to be referred to as “the weekend market soundtrack”). There was also an interactive electronic music jam session on both days of the event. Audience members were encouraged to create sounds with the performers by voice, touch, and by playing on a game console. There was also a new cooking workshop by Le Krua, where participants make a Thai dessert to take home. Vendors also included Green Terrace, Good and Green, Pridi Cacao, Dobro Africa, Jaidum BKK, and more.
Ari Weekend Market is a neighbourhood market hosted by People of Ari and Happy Grocers. It is hosted on the last weekend of every month at Yellow Lane. Visitors can expect an array of produce, organic food and drinks, as well as homemade products, and most importantly, a chance to connect with the Ari community.
