Chris Jon performed live at Yellow Lane on 9 June 2022. He is a Thai-French singer/songwriter. Born in Paris, he moved to Thailand at the age of 11 where now lives. He was the lead singer of “Shining Star,” a popular band under LOVEiS, a renowned Thai record label led by Boyd Kosiyabong, who Chris often collaborated and performed with.
After working in the music industry for over 20 years, he is now launching his first solo album "Soul for Sale," which is heavily influenced by R&B and soul music. The songs will be released in English and Thai for both international and Thai markets, as well as in French for some of the singles.
With content drawn from his own experiences at different points in life, Chris hopes to share his personal stories in a way that listeners can relate, and eventually inspire them in troubled times.
