Mental-verse is an immersive documentary exhibited by People of Ari and Eyedropper Fill between 14-29 May 2022. First released as a part of Bangkok Design Week 2022, this acclaimed documentary made its return to the screen at PoA White Box, Yellow Lane, taking the audience on a journey through the worlds inside the minds of depressed individuals. The story was told through a series of photographs by three depressed subjects, representing three different age groups. Throughout the film they explored personal memories and their onset of depression, influenced by various societal factors.
For this re-exhibit, Mental-verse also included special activities such as an interactive exhibition, a mini concert, and a talk session by mental health professionals. This was to raise awareness and present depression in a new light, allowing participants to understand mental health issues in a deeper, more meaningful way.
