On 31 July - 1 August 2023, Yellow Lane featured a dynamic dance collaboration between Bangkok's own Ong Nitipat Polchai and Portuguese choreographer Teresa Manjua.
Nitipat, the creative force behind the Spine Party Movement, delved into the spiritual and therapeutic aspects of art, a journey that has been showcased across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Teresa Manjua, an influential choreographer and artistic director sponsored by the Portuguese government, led an international project promoting cultural exchange with dance groups in Southeast Asia.
The enchanting garden setting of Yellow Lane Cafe served as the backdrop for this inclusive social experiment, where Nitipat and Teresa aimed to establish spaces welcoming diversity and encouraging heartfelt interactions. Attendees were treated to a night of vibrant performances, embodying the magic of dance and fostering cultural connections.
